Wining Wines by Hector Reyes
Reyes Wine Consulting 707-529-4752  the annual San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This event features wines from 900 wineries from California and the Northwestern US. The award wining wines of this competition were showcased at a public tasting on March 12 in San Francisco. The SRJC Agriculture and Natural Resource Dept is a beneficiary of the public tasting event and provides an opportunity for students to participate for the experience of special event planning Of the 3,200 wine entries in the wine competition, 3 labels stood out and were the 2005 Schott Zwiesel Sweepstakes Winners. The 3 winners were:
- Sparkling: Korbel Brut Rosé California Champagne,
- White Wine: Charles Krug 2004 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
- Red Wine: Earthquake 2003 Lodi Petite Sirah
